Giving Back
Giving back to the community is one of RacqStar Candy’s core business philosophies. The importance of living a life of service and helping everyone’s light Shine like the Stars of the Universe is part of The Great Commission.
Each quarter, 10% of proceeds are donated to organizations that are personally near and dear to Racquel: The American Heart Association (due to the loss of her father in 2002), MS Society (due to the loss of her dearest sister in 2018), United Way (volunteer since college), and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (long-time supporter, and the wish for all children to live healthy, vibrant lives).
Philanthropy
Giving back to the community is not a program at RacqStar Candy Jewels. It is a philosophy. A calling. Part of The Great Commission.
The American Heart Association holds a permanent place in Racquel's heart, in memory of her father, lost in 2002. The MS Society is carried in honor of her dearest sister, lost in 2018. United Way has been a part of Racquel's life since her college years. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, represent her enduring wish that every child live a healthy, vibrant life.
Each quarter, 10 percent of proceeds are donated to these organizations. Because building a beautiful business and living a life of service are not separate pursuits. They are the same pursuit, expressed in different forms.
