Style. Stars. Storied Inspiration.

Some brands are built. RacqStar Candy Jewels was recognized.

It began the way most meaningful things begin: not with a plan, but with an instinct. From childhood, Racquel was the creative one. The one making custom friendship bracelets with considered color combinations, sewing hearts from fabric, writing plays, casting the people she loved as the characters. Everything she made, she made to give away, simply because making others feel seen was the most natural thing in the world to her.

When she discovered her first bead store, she was not thinking about a business. She was thinking about creating beautiful jewelry. She purchased her first strands of gemstones, sat down at her dining room table, and started making bracelets. She wore them to class. Her classmates stopped her. They wanted to know where she got them. They wanted to know how they could get one.

Her professor said: "Because everyone loves your jewelry, you should monetize this."

So she made a collection, invested in a tent, and registered for her first fine arts craft festival. Her tent was full. But it was not until the morning after, when a customer returned wearing her new earrings with her ensemble, eyes bright, and said, "Your jewelry speaks to me in every way," that Racquel understood what she was actually making.

Not accessories. Jewelry that finds its person.

The Name

In the corporate world, Racquel was known. A high-profile businesswoman whose presence in newspapers and business journals earned her a moniker from her colleagues: RacqStar. It was a name that carried ambition, visibility, and the particular kind of warmth that makes a room remember you.

The "Candy" came naturally. Take one look at the colorful, glistening gemstones in the collection and you will understand immediately. Beautiful enough to eat.

The MBA sharpened the business. The corporate world gave the brand its name. But the jewelry itself came from somewhere older and deeper: the memory of her mother and grandmother's fine jewelry, the gemstones and baubles that first made a little girl fall in love with the way a stone catches light and makes a woman feel like herself.

The Design

Classic, with a twist.

Every RacqStar Candy Jewels piece is handcrafted by Racquel herself, in small batches, made to order. Natural semi-precious gemstones chosen for color with intention. High-grade pearls. Unexpected material pairings that make each piece unmistakably RacqStar. The setting is the stage. The material is the story.

This is not mass production. It is not trend-chasing. It is one maker, one piece at a time, for the woman who reaches into her jewelry box in the morning and feels a spark of joy. The woman who wants to shine like the stars for life's most meaningful moments, and for the ordinary Tuesdays that deserve to feel special, too.

Every piece is an invitation. To be seen. To be celebrated.

The Service

When a local customer's package was delivered to the wrong house and could not be recovered, there was no deliberation. Racquel remade the piece, hand-delivered it, and added a gift. Because that is the standard every RacqStar Candy Jewels client deserves.

We call it the Platinum Rule: treat others as they want to be treated. Not as the policy requires. As they deserve. Every client, supplier, and associate in the RacqStar Candy Jewels world can expect this.

Relationships are not transactions. They are the whole point.

The Mission

RacqStar Candy Jewels is an invitation into the art of living joyfully. Handcrafted in small batches, one considered piece at a time, for the woman who curates her world with as much care as she lives in it.

Because every woman deserves to let her light shine like the stars.

Philanthropy

Giving back to the community is not a program at RacqStar Candy Jewels. It is a philosophy. A calling. Part of The Great Commission.

The American Heart Association holds a permanent place in Racquel's heart, in memory of her father, lost in 2002. The MS Society is carried in honor of her dearest sister, lost in 2018. United Way has been a part of Racquel's life since her college years. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, represent her enduring wish that every child live a healthy, vibrant life.

Each quarter, ten percent of proceeds are donated to these organizations. Because building a beautiful business and living a life of service are not separate pursuits. They are the same pursuit, expressed in different forms.
